Curriculum

I was born in 1971 in Osório, near Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. I made my graduation in physics at the Physics Institute of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Then I made my masters and my PhD (see research page). You can check my professional curriculum at the CNPq/Lattes database. I like a lot of things. Physics, including astronomy, mechanics, optics, electronics, dynamics, mathematics, information tecnology, programming languages, advanced programming technics, Linux/Unix, computer hardware, software, hardware interfaces and so on. I work a lot with all these things nowadays. I used to work with astrophysics (properties of elliptical galaxies); now I am working with instrumentation, sensors, aquisition software and control systems. I also teach astronomy, physics and some IT disciplines in the university.

By the way, from middle 2006 to 2010 I was a professor at the Universidade Federal do Pampa (Unipampa), in Bagé, RS.

Now I am currently working at the Instituto de Matemática EStatística e Física at the Universidade Federal de Rio Grande in the city of Rio Grande, RS, Brazil.

Personally (this is a personal page, no?) I am married to Anelise Anapolski &-). Below we are in the Guaiba river in Porto Alegre

When not working with science I like to hide in home, listen to music, read books, play guitar, tie knots, woodcraft, sail, bike, travel, cook, practice yoga, ...
